Forrest Gardner Joins RTG Ownership Group

RTG’s greatest asset has always been our people—dedicated professionals who exemplify our core values through their expertise, integrity, and commitment. As we continue to grow, we need great people and trusted partners around the table to help guide and lead the company into the future.  With that in mind, we are excited to announce the newest addition to our ownership group:

FORREST GARDNER, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT joined Realty Trust Group (RTG) in 2019 to help start the Nashville office, with the hopes to significantly expand RTG’s presence across the state of Tennessee and the surrounding region. Through Forrest’s leadership, RTG has achieved this and more! RTG’s Nashville office is home to a robust team of professionals offering expertise across advisory, transactions, property management, and development services. This team is responsible for leading the day-to-day real estate functions for three leading health systems in Tennessee and Missouri, while also sourcing new client opportunities and supporting client work across the region. In many ways, the Nashville office serves as a blueprint for how RTG will continue to grow across new and developing markets.

On top of an active book of business, Forrest is a good friend and mentor to many with a genuine desire to help others succeed.  He reflects many of RTG’s core values including integrity, self-motivation and the ability to execute (just gets things done!).  We are extremely proud of Forrest and his contributions to RTG’s success – no doubt he is making a difference.

Forrest has over 30 years of experience in healthcare finance and real estate.  Prior to RTG, he previously served as Senior Vice President at MedEquities Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: MRT), where he oversaw a national portfolio and underwrote more than $500 million in transactions. His financial leadership also includes serving as CFO of Radiation Oncology Services of America, Inc. and Vice President of Finance at Renal Care Group, Inc. (NYSE: RCI).
