RTG partnered with Hamilton Health Care System (“HHCS”) to provide comprehensive owner’s representation and program management services on a major capital improvement program for HHCS’s main campus in Dalton,
Georgia. Program highlights include.
Peeples Cancer Institute. A state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility consolidating medical and radiation oncology, outpatient infusion and breast and diagnostic imaging services in a single facility. In addition to state CON approval, the new facility required the permanent closure of an existing road through the hospital campus and construction of a sub-grade parking deck to ensure convenient patient parking. The $46-million facility will be complete in summer of 2019.
Anna Shaw Children’s Institute. One of the first facilities of its kind in the nation, the 54,000 SF facility is specially designed for the treatment of children with autism spectrum, attention deficit and other complex developmental disorders. The unique “treehouse” design creates a calm and inviting environment for young patients. The $25- million facility will be complete in spring of 2019.
Inpatient Tower Renovations. Renovation and modernization of existing 1970’s era med-surg wings and support areas. The initial $11.6-million renovation will be complete in fall 2019.
In addition, RTG supported numerous other projects ranging from facility renovations, surgical expansion and construction of a new parking garage to support the growing campus.
